The visionary and purposeful Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Gift Worlu, extends his warm congratulations to Rt. Hon. O.K. Chinda, Rt. Hon. Martins Chike Amaewhule, and Hon. Barr. Lesley Ejekwu on their successful screening ahead of the forthcoming primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Dr. Gift Worlu described their successful screening as a clear testament to their credibility, political relevance, competence, and unwavering commitment to public service. He noted that their emergence at this crucial stage of the electoral process reflects the confidence reposed in them by the party’s leadership.
The Chairman states that the trio have consistently distinguished themselves as dependable leaders and worthy ambassadors of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area through their dedication, experience and immense contributions towards the growth of the LGA in particular and society in general.
Hon. Dr. Worlu expressed optimism in their capacity to excel in the various positions they seek, stating that they possess the experience, leadership qualities and political goodwill required to effectively represent the people.
He further wished them successful outings at the party primaries and prayed for ultimate victory at the polls in the 2027 general elections.
The Chairman also called on party faithful, supporters and the people of Obio/Akpor to remain united and committed to the ideals of the Renewed Hope Family, while continuing to support credible leaders who are passionate about the development and progress of the LGA, nay the state and country.
